Reimagine Public Art, part of DCA’s COVID-19 emergency response program, reflects on the moment, one year ago, when we drastically altered the ways we interact with each other, and by extension, with art.

This virtual public art exhibition introduces over 250 local artists working across mediums, who give us a glimpse at a new relationship between public space and art in the digital age, especially during a period of social, economic, and health emergencies.

The exhibition shows us that art continues to expand beyond its traditional forms, despite any circumstances, finding new outlets for collective healing, exploring the city, and connecting with other fellow Angelenos and visitors alike.
